As we approach the European Football Championships in France, we’ll be reviewing some classic football matches from previous international tournaments!
In this video, we hear from one of England’s greatest strikers Michael Owen. He discusses that famous goal against Argentina when he was 18 years old. What is fascinating too is his description of his emotional state as his career progressed. He talks about how he started to worry more with age! How many of us can relate to that? :). Yet it doesn’t have to be that way at all. Often legends find the opposite is true! They become wiser as they get older and they start to see that certain fears they had when they are younger. Why is that the case? Because they are always looking to grow and develop and learn from the challenges they face.
