Michelle Obama’s Timely Speech | Jennifer Aniston Busts Myth of Celebrity | Denis Leary Fails To Be Cool – Legends Report

Have you ever been in a meeting with someone and felt like you’re just talking to a robot? Someone who isn’t connected to what they’re feeling or saying at all?

Have you ever witnessed someone genuinely speak from the heart and connect with you and you barely even knew them?

The people who truly succeed in life develop and cultivate the latter. Not only do they wear their heart on their sleeve, but they learn through experience to communicate that emotion with power and conviction, honestly and sincerely. On Monday night this week, Michelle Obama did exactly that, in a speech full of appreciation for the past, for the future and for her time in the Whitehouse with her family. One of the greatest hallmarks of any legend is humility; their ability to appreciate life, to give thanks and to learn from everyone around them. Here is a small but incredibly powerful snippet of Mrs Obama’s speech:

“We’re all human beings at the end of the day, whether we are a waitress or a baker or a student or whatever we are, at the end of the day you kind of hit walls and think I kind of can’t go any further. Or this is too much. My heart can’t take it or the pain is too great, or am I good enough? Will I survive? And you just have to sort of somehow miraculously overcome. You just go, ‘I can’t, yes I can, yes you can.’” – Jennifer Aniston

Recently Jennifer Aniston spoke out about body-shaming culture. On Monday night, a fan asked the actress at a film screening if she had ever experienced days where she didn’t know ‘who she was.’ Miss Aniston responded with a very emotional statement which you can watch below. She finished it however by busting a myth of celebrity… ironically, those who are more successful in life don’t put people on pedestals, they see people for who they are, and realise we all have our own fears and hopes…

“There’s nothing that separates us from you, because we all started at the same place. We all came out of nowhere. Don’t punish yourself if you feel that. Go talk to people and seek help and always find something to inspire you.”

How Denis Leary Failed To Be Cool In Front of Beyoncé

Ever seen someone try to look that little bit cooler than they actually are? It’s like slowly watching a car crash, right? Well, that’s exactly what happened with comedian Denis Leary when he tried to get ‘cool’ points with his daughters, by getting them to meet Beyoncé.

The lesson? Next time you want to look cool by doing something artificial, just take a step back and let it go. Legends never try to impress other people, they realise that the best way to be cool is to be honest with who they are, flaws included. Check out his fun story below…
