One trait all legends share is the ability to take themselves out of their comfort zone.
Why?
Because it’s the only place where you achieve anything!! Just think about what the alternative is…To stay doing what you are comfortable with all your life? Sadly, many people do this which is why they get what they have always got in life! If you want something new you have to step out of your comfort zone!
Heed the advice Sir Richard’s just published on from his blog below…stop playing it safe and take a risk!!
“I thrive when the pressure is on – it makes me feel alive and determined, and it pushes me forward. In order to progress and change for the better we need to continuously put ourselves outside of our comfort zones.”
For more on pushing yourself, here’s how a Navy SEAL helped a businessman get massively out of his comfort zone!
What These Legends & Dictators Looked Like When They Were Young Will Blow You Away

One of the aims of the Legends Report is to show you how human legends really are. We can often think of them as somehow different from us and superhuman. But as the powerful set of photos published in the Independent on Wednesday shows, they are human too.
Aside from a young Mahatma Gandhi and Bill Clinton, it’s the dictators who grew up to cause harm and destruction to millions that surprised me the most. What do you feel about seeing a baby Adolf Hitler above for example?
We aren’t born to hate. We learn those along the way through our upbringing and our environment. See if you can feel compassion and see the human being in these photos beyond the preconceptions you have of the people they became.

Impact of Ice Bucket Challenge
By James Mills, Associate Partner & Mentorship Coach, Lighthouse International
Do you remember the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that was all the rage the summer of 2014? Well, it raised $115 million (£88 million) in one month! Two years on and scientists have made a major breakthrough in the quest for a cure for ALS (Motor Neurone Disease). This important discovery of a gene variant associated with the condition has been attributed to research that was funded by donations from the Ice Bucket Challenge!
The extra burst of funding also encouraged research scientists from different countries to pool their resources and collaborate more. It just goes to show what is possible when everyday people inspire each other to do something for an important cause. You can read more in this Guardian article.
It’s definitely also worth checking out the background story to this craze that took the social media world by storm – told by the mother of an ALS sufferer determined to raise the profile of the disease…
