Watch Eckhart Tolle & Wayne Dyer Laugh At Their Egos! – Legends Report

By Tom Hasker, Associate Partner, Lighthouse International

Have you ever looked to someone for advice, and assumed that the person giving it has mastered that advice? Legendary authors Eckhart Tolle and the late Wayne Dyer, through their understanding of human nature, have helped millions of people. It is easy to believe they have ‘made it’, given the success of their work.

We can trick ourselves into believing, that this work is easy for them because they are ‘Wayne Dyer’ and ‘Eckhart Tolle’. However, the reality is very different! They too have egos. They too are doing the work every day,in order to put their own sense of self-importance aside.

This video from the Hay House event “The Importance of Being Extraordinary” shows the humanness that both men possess; the humility they have to recognise their own ego, and the sense of humour they both have to make fun of themselves!

As Eckhart Tolle explains in the video, it is essential to be aware of the egoic need to indulge and revel, in the adulation that he and Mr Dyer have being given. Then, to be proactive and drop that ‘hot potato’ as he describes it. This humility is a trait of all great leaders. They are always the first to recognise the efforts of the team, company, family or group of people, who have helped them to achieve the received adulation.
