When we look hard enough at every tragedy, we can often find examples of hope. When the worst gun massacre in US history took place at Pulse nightclub in Orlando last week, ex-marine Imran Yousuf, working as a bouncer on the night enabled 60-70 people to escape the killing. How does he feel about it? As you can see in the Channel 4 news video above, he wishes he could have saved more lives. Much has been written and dissected in the wake of the worst gun massacre in modern US history. Trevor Noah’s powerful speech on the Daily Show last week is the best I’ve seen. Why? Because the South African’s passion for change screams out at you. His logical, reasoned and wise arguments show categorically why things need to change in the US. But more than that he provides a life lesson for all of us…How many things in our lives do we ignore over and over again hoping the problem will fix itself? How many unresolved relationships, arguments, unfulfilled dreams and forgotten goals do we all have and when are we going to decide to do something about them?
