In this incredibly touching clip below, we see how children are so much more in touch with their conscience, and indeed how they adopt an abundance mentality rather than one of scarcity. It’s the story of a 6-year-old boy who offers a place in his family to the Syrian boy, Omran Daqneesh who was taken from a bomb blast and given shelter in an ambulance recently.

Childen see beyond the barriers of race, colour, nationality and gender that cloud our hearts and minds every day. When we were children, we all used to see like this too, however, we increasingly unlearn these basic kindnesses. We feel we need to teach our children so much, but maybe what we should be concentrating on is – what they can teach us, and how they can help us to get back to these forgotten inherent values?
